More Information
This service pack enables synchronization and also resyncs any data that was added between March 20, 2006 and the date the service pack was installed.
Better Sync control
This release introduces a new command line option, /NOSYNC, that allows users to temporarily suspend workgroup synchronization. This allows you to control synchronization before you launch Commence.
- Remote users can now create a shortcut to use Commence 'offline' while disconnected from the network.
- Administrators can also launch Commence manually with this new option from the Start - Run menu to perform administrative tasks without sync interruptions.
- Commence can be launched with this option from an external program, such as the Data Synchronization utility.
- The option can be used on the server and/or clients.
