Problem
TAPI does not detect when the phone is hung up.

Cause

This is a problem with TAPI that can be resolved by defining a Commence agent to tell TAPI to release the line.

Workaround
There is an agent action, 'Use Telephone', with an option to hang up. Use the following criteria to define the agent:

Trigger: Tool Bar Pick. Change the icon to the phone receiver with a down arrow, located past the letters of the alphabet.

Action: Use Telephone - Hang Up After each phone call.  

To Use: click on the tool bar button to free up the phone line.
