Problem
When determining which handheld devices are compatible with the Commence PalmPilot link, the actual version of the PalmPilot device is not relevant; rather it is the version of the Palm OS. The version of the Palm OS or Hotsync Manager that is supported by the Commence Link varies depending on what Hotsync Manager version was available when the Commence Link was released.

Below is a list of the Commence versions and Hotsync Managers they support:

Commence 4.x and 2000  supports Hotsync Manager up to version 3.0.1. Compatibility with the following specific Palm models has been confirmed, however this list is not exhaustive.

• Palm VII
• Palm Vx
• Palm V
• Palm III

Commence RM supports Hotsync Manager up to (and including) version 4.0 The current Palm models available are:

• Palm m505
• Palm m500
• Palm m125
• Palm m100
• Palm VIIx
• Palm Vx
• Palm IIIc
